new 41. range pingable?

I have searched the forum, but could not find any answer:

I can't seem to ping my cybersmart 3gb account from anywhere (except from itself). It's in the new 41. range.

Is this a local only IP or something similar?

The 41.x range is certainly pingable on my WebAfrica account.

I didn't change any settings, and I remember it did work before the 41. range. I don't use it often, but I need it now :-(

What router do you have? Just check that it allows pings on its WAN port.

I found the problem. Sorry to have bothered you, it was a firewall setting that I forgot about.
