kk,
I live in one of those gated communities that has ADSL included, my own wifi router in the roof and an ethernet port in very room, so i'm not that up to scratch on what is going on in the adsl sector at the moment. A friend of mine just moved into a new place, and she asked me to help her with setting up a new connection for her. She already has a phone line installed, now she wants a 384kbs line with a 5gb cap that she can share with her housemates.
I thought I'd just buy a cheap adsl modem & switch, or a 4 port modem and do a self install.
So question: Who's the easiest ISP to go for in Cape Town area? should I do my line rental through the ISP or through Telkom? What is a cheap modem to buy?
