new adsl installation-I can connect but cannot receive packets

Ok so my self install adsl is up and running..sort of.
I am able to connect with multiple isp accounts. The problem is that it seems I'm being blocked somewhere along the line because I can't receive any packets. I can ping the other side just fine but I cant get any futher than that.

Any numbers I can call?

btw it took them 3 days to activate my line.

I decided to call the adsl help centre and they "verified" my adsl line for me and now its up and running.

If u can ping "other side" it means you are receiving packets.

When u do a ping it sends out and receives icmp packets

Yea...I meant it wont go any further than the ppp link I have established.
Anyway its working now after they "verified" the line.
