My modem/router got struck by lightning a few weeks ago, and have been podding along with my old one which is most unreliable.
Need to buy another one and have been looking at the following:
1. Asus DSL N12U
2. TP Link W8960
3. TP Link W8968
The 2 TP Link seem very similar with the W8968 having a USB port as well, however the older model W8960 is slightly higher in price, which doesn't make sense. What is the difference here?
I used an Asus before and it proved fairly good until the lightning hit it - it was an Asus DSL N10.
I currently have an Asus Rt N13U as well which works as a wireless extender.
My question which do I go for - my budget is R 1000 maximum.
