Your post is deafeningly loud - use of caps means you're shouting, bro. Anyway, here's a step-by-step outline of what you should do to get initial connectivity success on the Telkrap unit:
1. First, get rid of all the PC's on your network, by disconnecting at your hub/switch - leave just the POTS unit and one PC connected. You can fix later whatever needs to be fixed on them.
2. Make sure the unit and the PC are powered up, with the DSL_LNK and LAN_LNK lights a steady green.
3. Load up your browser on the PC, and enter 'http://192.168.10.200' in the URL field, and hit Enter.
4. You should have a window appearing, requesting a Username and Password. If at this point you don't get this, you have a hardware connectivity problem - either at the hub/switch or your POTS unit is FUBAR. Also check your cables.
5. Enter 'root' as both your Username and Password, or whatever you may have changed it to previously. If you'd rather start from scratch, press the Reset button behind the unit (next to the Power Switch) and hold it down for about 10 seconds, until the LED's go out and come on again. This will rest the unit to the factory default settings, which includes the use of 'root' as both a Username and Password.
6. Once successfully logged in, the Web Page for router configuration will appear, split into two decidedly ugly but functional frames. The left frame is the menu, with the right frame the content response.
7. Click on 'Quick Setup' menu in the left frame - the right frame will read something like 'Quick Setup - Protocol'.
8. In the frame on the right, make sure 'PPP over Ethernet (RFC 2516)' is selected.
9. Click 'Next'.
10. Values for the next frame that appears are:
... LAN Port Parameters:
... IP Address - 192.168.10.200
... Net Mask - 255.255.255.0
... WAN Port Parameters:
... IP Address - 10.10.10.10
... Net Mask - 255.255.255.0
... Default Gateway - 196.25.1.11
... Bridge NAT - Disable
... ATM VC Parameters:
... Status - Enable
... VPI/VCI - 8/35
... AAL5 Encapsulation - LLC
11. Click 'Next'.
12. PPP Authorization Information:
... Enter the username and password (plus confirm field) for the ADSL account provided by your ISP.
13. Click 'Next'.
14. On the next frame, a summary of the entries made will appear.
15. Click 'Next'.
16. On the next frame, click 'Save', wait a second or two until the frame reads 'Save Configuration Successful', then click 'Restart'.
A message will appear telling you to wait 30 seconds, and the frame will eventually read 'System Ready'.
17. At this point, you should be able to access the Internet - close and reopen your browser.
18. If the home page doesn't appear, first remove any proxy settings you may have in the browser, and try again - you can always put them back later, once you've successfully linked. Try loading http://www.google.co.za in your browser, or your ISP's home page.
19. If the browser still doesn't work, it's time to use the CLI ('command.com'), from which you should try pinging the router (192.168.10.200), then the gateway (set above to 196.25.1.11, which is actually Telkrap's primary DNS), then finally some other site.
19. If you have a successful ping, then your browser is having difficulty reading the Windows network settings, probably. I'm not sure of this, but I think IE has a settings window called 'Connections', or something like that. Otherwise, you should also check your network settings via the Control Panel, particularly the values for TCP/IP.
18. If all of this still doesn't work, methinks you have a problematic unit - mebbe other forumites can provide further input...
Trust this assists...
