i'm looking to get an entry level adsl router/modem and was wondering what my best options would be.
had a look at the Billion 5200s and 7300. Any recommendations?

just 1 pc, no I dont have a switch.
already have an ethernet port for connectivity to a adsl modem/router

If you only have 1 pc you could go for the 5200S.. Good little router for the price that you pay, and also Billion has got support on this forum which is cool...

So if you dnt want any wireless or anything else, this little router will be the one for you....

He's lying to you!

No, he speaks the truth ;)

ok so the 5200s is a good option. anything else i should look at ? netgear etc?.
Also what kind of prices should i expect for the 5200s and 7300?
thanks
Do the Billion come with line filters etc, or will I need to get that\those seperately.
OR are they pretty much ready to run out of the box, aside from initial setup.

5200S +- R400
7300 +- R500

You dnt need to have line filters connected between the router and the wall socket. The filters are only for your phone and no they are not included.

I stock the Billion 5200s for R420.00 and the 7300 for R547.00.

BTW. Thanks for mentioning me Snormossel! :)
