I only have 1 server rack, 48U with 4 servers and bunch of switches, usual gear. The servers do put out a LOT of heat, esp our terminal server. The server room is also my bunker/lair/office.
I don't really feel that putting a split unit AC in again is going to cut it, most AC's I've seen will not auto-resume should the power trip. This in Durban, so you can imagine what it's like for the servers (+me) when the AC fails.
I basically need advice on:
a) what unit I should consider, I already know its gotta be about 18K BTU
b) are there companies that offer guaranteed next day service should something go wrong?
c) suggestions on who to speak to (in durbs)
