Indeed, I hope the later stage tests are also successful. Lost my mother to Alzheimers and it is an awful dread-disease, not just the memory loss that people usually associate with it.

Same here, this will be one of THE highlights in medicine & research.

I hope this treatment will be available in SA soon after they have registered it - by that time I should be able to sign up for treatment or I am willing to be a guinea pig.

Wow ... this would be amazing. And just this morning I was talking to a friend on the phone and he told me he had his ex's mom over for the day and she has got Alzheimers. Does not stop her from moaning about her son's new boyfriend to him . I have sent him the link to the article.
