New Apple HomePod Mini launched

Apple has launched its new Apple HomePod Mini smart speaker at its Hi Speed event on 13 October 2020.

The device is a smaller version of the company’s HomePod speaker, offering integration with Siri, high-quality sound, and an overhauled design.

Apple said the HomePod Mini features an acoustic waveguide for a consistent 360-degree sound experience.

I think $99 is a bit much for this device. They would sell a lot more at $69.

Looks nice but a) I'm already [heavily] invested in Alexa and b) I don't think it plays nicely with my Sonoff switches.

Too late she cried!
The smart speaker game was lost by Apple and Google to Amazon a while ago.
Homekit was always restrictive and just not up to scratch.
