New Asus P8Z77-V

Hey guys, I recently bought a new Asus P8Z77-V motherboard. I installed Windows 7 and everything works fine except the LAN port. I don't know if its a hardware problem because the light at the LAN port is still blinking fine. It shows up on the device manager (with the yellow troubleshoot icon next to it) but not on the adapter settings in Network Connections. I've downloaded drivers from asus and intel's site and uninstalled and installed it numerous time but still can't get it to work. Does somebody know what might be wrong. Thanks:)

UPDATE : Okay so I got it working. I don't know how it worked but all I did was shut down my pc, removed my gfx card , restarted it and then it worked. Then I added my gfx card back and it still works. LOL :D
