New Axxess uncapped accounts

I think someone had maybe posted about this a few days ago, but I could be wrong.

Even more interesting though than their new Uncapped products, did you know that the new accounts are actually differently now?

From an Axxess sales manager:

We have new Axxess uncapped services on @youruncap and custom realms. This will improve your service.

No complex rating. Please try get your clients onto the @youruncap or we can provide you with a custom realm.

My reply:

How do the new accounts work exactly?

I am going to risk an assumption - the accounts are basically extremely high cap accounts, e.g. The one in the screenshot initially provided has 1Tb of cap remaining. What happens when that hits 0? Theoretically speaking - i know it is quite unlikely that it will happen on a 4mb line, but will the account then be blocked?

And with regards to the new rating? Does it not work on the previous system - eg if falling in top x% of users, the account gets lesser priority?

His response:

No the limit we set was impossible to reach but we manage the account according to the Axxess clients. No star rating. You should have a much better experience.

I have had a Telkom 384 line with an Axxess uncapped Express account for a number of years ... or at least since they started this service.

Will these new services change anything for me?

The express accounts are on a separate realm, from what I understand. I presume your current account is something like "user@your-express"?

May be worth your while to give them a call and ask if they can move you to the new, supposedly better, youruncap realm.
