New business for first timers

My wife recently started her own business from home but its still very small, only about R6000pm turnover for now.

She is wanting to employ someone so that the business can grow but with that comes employees contract, uif, tax. Her business is also not registered yet.

Who would be the best type of person to approach with this to assist with all the legal/financial side of a new business?

Registered accountant is invaluable rather than trying to learn everything on your own in your own time.

Get a company like swiftreg or shelf company warehouse to register the company. You can use the company registration documents to then open a bank account. An accountant or tax practitioner can then register the business with SARS for EMP and Income Tax.

You can then get an accountant or bookkeeper to keeps the books up to date on a monthly basis, do payroll and submit all SARS returns when they become due.
