Went past the Mercedes dealership today to check this thing out, looks great and the interior is superior luxurious. Great styling too.

Anyone buy one of these yet, all the cars in stock are very highly spec'd so going for quite a bit, but the dealer rates 3 months for delivery if you order today. They aren't offering discounts as of yet, but a nicely spec'd c250 comes out at around 570k. A bit pricey when compared to the 328, but a lot more car in my opinion.

Here's the link to the Merc site.

Thoughts?

I find the space is still the same as the old C-Class - the leg room for the driver side and front passenger is rather cramped - compare that to the CLA. The door is no longer as solid as the older C class, the boot has also become a bit hollow.

The MB W205 C220 BlueTEC with AMG pack was at Canal Walk last week; interior was open for one to view. I know a few MyBB members seemed initially not impressed with the interior but I though the design & fit & finish was excellent.

Car looks fantastic in the metal.

BTW saw a non-AMG pack model today & didn't look nearly as good; looked rather dumpy tbh.

Seems same like the A-Class if you want looks it's AMG kit/spec or go home.

Front looks amazing in my opinion.. back looks like they just have up trying to style it, it looks childish and horrible

i spent the afternoon at the Killarney Race Track with the new C , impressive car , however i feel its under powered

A guy at work has one, C250 and it looks like it has a AMG kit or similar. Very sporty. Nice car but a bit too bling for my liking. Looks like something Lil'John would roll in. Piano black finish in cabin is a finger print magnet.

Which model did you have? 155kW in the 250, and thats isn't really enough for a track. You would need the 350 at least for the track, and they haven't launched that model yet.

According to the salesman on hand , C350 due in 2015 only.

I like the build quality of Mercedes but I don't understand why Mercedes make the C-Class so damn small.
My Kia Cerato has more legroom in it.
When I sit in the front seat in the W204 my seat is so far back that there's hardly any room left for passengers in the back.
If it wasn't for that I'd probably consider picking up a used C-Class.

It's the same size as the 3 series, which i currently have. I have quite long legs, and when I sit comfortably, an adult can still sit in the seat behind me. If you need more leg room in the back seats than a C-Class, then the person in the driver seat and the back seat are both >6 ft.

Would be nice to see what the coupe will look like. I still have my heart set on the W203 coupe...

And that is not that unusual unless you live in midget land. C-class & 3-series are both cramped.

The car looks nice from the front, hate the back though. But at the end of the day, I've always felt that Merc are way overpriced. At current I would rather take a 3 series, though it would be interesting to see what the A4 is going to be like with the next model.
