As the title says. The new Banking App available from Capitec is not zero rated on Telkom Mobile anymore.
Kind of sucks since I'm on prepaid and don't actually use airtime much. Needing to top up airtime to buy a bundle is an issue.

You're using the app on your phone - how are you sending whatsapp / browsing etc? Or you using a sim device that's only being used for this banking app and requires no other data?

But if you don't use much data, then a data bundle should last a long time?

The old app was zero rated on Telkom. It didn't need data to access it on Telkom. . Meaning that when my data is finished I could still use the app to top up airtime and convert it to a Mo'nice bundle.

You misread. I use a lot of data. I' don't use much airtime.

Not worth number swapping to another provider that's zero rated capitec?

Not IMO. The Mo'nice deals are way cheaper than other bundles. 4Gb data costs R59 for 10 days.

@ them on Twitter and ask them about it.
They're bound to notice it sometime or another. I'd have to ask Telkom and Capitec. For now it's fine if I remember to keep enough airtiime for a small bundle to top up airtime again on Capitec.
