New CEO mess at Eskom

Anyone know what Squirrel is up to these days? Has he retired or something? If not then why do we never hear anything from him, and why does he not sort out his petty squabbling ministers?

Gordhan should not be involved in appointing a new Eskom CEO. That is the boards job. Gordhan should only be in charge of appointing the board.

Rumour has it he is recovering from a back injury, something about trying to rearrange the couches at Phala Phala

Eskom first indicated that the board had sent three names to Gordhan, but later the utility “corrected” this to match the minister’s statement
