New Chassis/Scratch Build Recommendations

Haha, the only thing that I was going to suggest was a clever cable-management system to keep the cabling nice and uncluttered, but you are on top of that it seems :)
Haha! :p

Oh no, I'm sorry Arch, that really sucks :(

What car and what went wrong? I hope its not going to be too expensive :(
Hopefully just a blown fuse on the radiator fan. But the car ran hot for a while so I just hope it hasnt damaged the engine. Transmission is also wonky but I'm hoping its just the clutch cable that needs adjusting. Will find out tomorrow whats what.

Yeah, hopefully its nothing too big and expensive! :)

What material are you the filters made of? Are they removable for easy cleaning?

Edit: Small thing, but have you thought about "feet" for the case? Little rubber feet at each corner will help with avoiding nasty scratches and with vibrations against the floor

Filters are medical grade mesh. Dont know what exactly its made of, but its the best of low restriction + good filtering. They are magnetic as well. So the front one will sit behind the front cover (6 screws to take off) and the one at the bottom will sit outisde the case since nobody is going to see the bottom all that much.

Ah, so thats sorted then.....

:D

And feet? :D

Is magnetic a good thing?

Haha, thats the only thing I'm still deciding on :p

Is magnetic a good thing?

Why wouldnt it be? Its not like I'm putting a super magnet next to my drives. Besides just about everything in a computer creates magnetic fields, fans, power supply, CPU, hard drives. But its all so weak that it doesnt interfere with anything else.

I know theres no harm, I just doubt theres any benefit either.

Ease of use? Most of the fan filters I saw get screwed onto the fan. That would be a pain in the backside each time I wanted to clean it. And I struggled too much trying to get other ideas to work, so magnetic was the answer!

Right....

Carry handles?
Kensignton lock?
LED lighting? (for that l337 look :p )
What are you doing for sound insulation?
My CM690II has a little hole behind the m/b, which meant that I could change the cooler without taking the m/b out, which I thought was pretty cool...

I have literally been racking my brains trying to think of useful stuff!

Carry handles?
Tried, but it broke up the look to much on this design. Idea was to make a easy to build case, good looking handles would have required some serious sheet metal bending skills
Kensignton lock?
Nope, dont have it on my current PC so...?

Of course

Pump will be mounted on a thick rubber pad sponge type thingy. Fans will be insulated if required.

Thats been in there since the beginning :p

I'm trying dammit! :D

How about this?

Found some more that might give you ideas, I know this is random but it could help you in some way...
