So, after my daughter's contract phone were stolen, where can I buy a cheap android phone for her.

I know there were plenty off discussions here, but I did not read as i did not need one.

Contract is still a year to carry on.

Battery is just too small. Will be charging it twice a day.

How old is she?

The reason for asking is, if she is older than 6 don't get her a crap phone. My son got a Samsung Galaxy Pocket when he turned 7 and he find it disgusting. He wants my Note 3. lol

That would be plain reckless from you as a parent. Not just the fact that the other kids will hate him at school, but if ANYONE sees him walking with that phone, they'll stab him for. Kids will try and fight to hold on to their "toys".

The cheaper, the less risk for a tragedy to happen.

My son doesn't walk around with his phone. He plays with it at home.

Does it have 3G?

Sounds like he just wants a tablet.

She works allready, had a samsung s4 mini , contract with TM.

If she works then why isn't she buying her own replacement phone? Have you tried an insurance claim?

I am doing this for her. You guys give good advice, I tell her, she buy. We do not insure our phones. TM also do no insurance.

Yup, the Gobii has 3G & everything else. Having a 2nd sim slot is a bonus. Battery life? Normal use, about a day & 1/2.
Seeing is comes with a screen protector & a 'leather-look' cover is also great. Ours (we have 2 at home) came with 200meg data a month for 12 months Cell-C data sim card as a freebee. Not sure if they still do that.

It has everything except 'OTG' (On the Go) connectivity. but that is no problem at all. Why get a used phone? We know that batteries have a certail life span, & it would be a pity to have to buy another battery.

2x Gobii's cost = 1x second hand S4! No-brainer.
