Its a stripped down Polo...
I wonder if they will do well with this?
I have a feeling they wont do very well...
 
were's the car ? what the car called , i wanna google for pics
 
Probably a vw gol ( not golf ) or fox as per brazil. Although there have been rumours of a new vw lupo being released in 2010.
 
Those are Polo lights and the Polo bonnet...
Not sure what they naming it, the launch is on 19 March in Sun City...
 
It is called the VW "Vivo"

It will be a previous generation Polo (as you can see from the headlights) with the new VW straight grill instead of the "mouth" shape of the old Polo. It will be stripped down and hopefully won't exclude airbags or ABS.

This is the latest information I have, but could be wrong.
 
Yo JK8...the last Golf...MK1 aparently...heard its got everything from leather to ABS and power steering...dude came to ckeck my car yesterday, he needs to choose between my car and this new or last Golf the golf MK1 lol...how crazy is that

I wouldn't be surprised if it's the Lupo. The citi did have a bit of a weird spot when it came to price since it wasnt as cheap as a smaller city car (getz, indica, yaris) but didn't have the luxury of the mid-size cars just above its range (civic, focus etc). And in this recession backlash economy, volume sales is what everyone is looking at. Maybe a Lupo with old polo headlights?

Motoring magazines with insider information have been saying that it's a stripped down Polo for the past 6 months...their leaks are usually spot on.
