Yeah it is a bit of a difficult game, you just need to get used to not having enemies in your face that you can spray. Arma 3 you need to play slow and tactical, not just run and gun.

We played one scenario, which took us 29 hours to complete, purely because it was so hard and restarting would have reset any progress we made. that was one hell of a weekend!

Arma3 gets a bit nuts yeah. Even on some more serious public servers you can bet on at least 30minutes to get a squad organised. Then they lock down you weapon choices, and lock you into 1st person view, which makes it very very difficult.
