Hi,

I am looking for a new computer case as my current setup is not getting enough cooling and I have to run with the side panel removed.

I am running a Core i7 with an Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme cooler with fans in a push pull setup, I have 2 XFX Black Edition 260 graphics cards (creating a lot of heat), 3 hard drives, 2 DVD writes, X-Fi XtremeMusic sound card, Corsair HX-850 PSU.

if at all possible I would like to be able to coonect the X-Fi to the from panel audio of the case, the card has a non standard pin configuration. (is it possible to buy some type of adapter?)

Willing to spend up to R3500

So I am looking for a decent Full Tower case, with a side fan (that will not clash with the cpu cooler). I have read versious review about the HAF 932, and this case seems to be what I am looking for, my only concern is the possibility that this case is going to have to be cleaned monthly.

The Cm Storm Sniper is also a nice option (the black interior of the case is a nice feature) but I am worried about the size of the case, seems to be basically the same size as my Antec P160 case

What other options are availalbe or recommendations?

Thanks

Dude the haf 932, then you buy 4 120mm fans and replace the side fan with the 4 of them (buy the silent ones), you will not find a better cooling option

Why do you need to clean it monthly? dusty room or what?

Well my current case does get quite dusty, and it does not have the amount of fans as the HAF, why would you replace the side fan with 4 smaller ones. Noise is not really a problem, and I ususally have music playing, or gaming if I don't have computer crashes.

Would the HAF have enough space to cater for the large side fan and the Ultra 120 cpu cooler?

I had a look at the Antec 1200, I still prefer the look of the HAF though. Pity there is not a place to view these cases, you do not get a sence of size from a photo.

Thanks for the input so far.

The haf 932 is huge man it will handle everything, i replaced the side fan because it goes at 700 RPM and pushes in very little air.

My 2 5770's sit right on top of each other and when i have the large 20cm fan the temps sat at 44 and 51 idle, i replaced the fan with 4 120mm and now they idle at 34 and 37. Those 4 120mm fan push out around 5x times more air i would say.

Ok, so with the 4 120mm fans, was it easy to connect, I am worried about too many cables in the case. I am trying to get a tidy setup.

Which fans would you recommend?

The 230mm fans on the HAF932 push out 110cfm. Don't REALLY need to replace it.

The TRUE will fit, i had a Hyper Z600 in that case and it fitted with space to spare.

Do you have the case? have you actually had the fans blowing on your face? I have it and the fans push out such a little bit air on the side. That is only the bad thing i can say about the case is the side fan could have spun faster and pushed in more air. 4 120mm sorts that out like a charm, a little noisy but wow it is worth it :D

When i turn the fan on my face i can barely feel the air.

Don't worry about the size of the CM Storm Sniper, you can fit plenty inside of it. Easily enough space for dual GFX, 1000W PSU, and also any size cooler will fit. I have a V8 CPU cooler and its still got another 15mm or so until it would touch the side fan. And I use the bulge no the other side to hide all the wiring. The HAF 932 will also do the job, but I decided against it since I don't need all the bays that come with a full size tower (just have a DVD drive at the moment).

I'm going to buy the Haf922, the haf932 is way to big... Looks like a freaking server :)

Oi don't talk about my precious like that :D, she may not be the most beautiful box but boy does she keep my system cool :D.

Lol sorry dude :D I was actually going to get one myself untill I saw it :D

Hi go for CM stacker 830 evo.;) Great case looks awesome and is huge i
have a HD5970 in mine fits with room to spare and has lots of airflow.

I have not seen a HAF932 in life, but I have seen the Antec 1200 and I love it. You can always mod it to look better ;), but I think the airflow in that is perfect.

It is not always what the box looks like but how good the features and cooling are :D. I look at my box when i turn it on and don't see if for the next 6 hours, could not care if it is the ugliest thing i have ever seen as long as my bits stay chilled :D.
