new data bundles and/or muliple bundles

I'm not so sure that 350Mb is going to hit my sweet spot, but I'll take it.

500Mb for R300 would really **** my crank ;-)

The Prepaid bundles allow you to load a 1000MB, R499 bundle.

Which equates to about R250 for 500MB. Which is the price ratio you want, but double what you're willing to pay. :)

The new 350Mb bundle is listed at http://www.mtn.co.za/default.aspx?pid=11468

I was unable to load one though, as the product is not yet on the system, despite it being available from today. I must congratulate MTN on improving something since April when the original bundles became available - back then the call centre folks didn't know what a data bundle was - at least this time around the guy knew about the 350 bundle. Still bloody useless.

If one of y'all manage to load one of these, please post here - I'm not in the mood for dealing with the call centre more than I have to.

350mb bundle missing from menu

Hi

Was I keen to load the R350 bundle? Dialled 555 and got all the old menu choices which failed to please me.

When will it be available? It is listed on the mtn site which makes this a case of fraudulent advertising!!

Cheers,

OK so MTN has finally come up with some more bundles - well actually one bundle, but let's be churlish. I intended that this thread exert a bit of pressure on them to keep some of their promises. It didn't, but it did highlight how appalling their PR has become.

I threatened to protest at the lack of response by moving over to Vodacom, but in the end, the pain of a number change would have hurt me far more than MTN. Instead I have sold all my MTN shares.

I have requested this thread to be unstickied.

I managed to load a 350Mb bundle through MTN SP 808 today, on my third attempt. Although it is not yet listed on their primary system, the call centre agent used his initiative and found it on the secondary system. Migration to the primary system is scheduled for today.

Today the shares went up to R58-00.

I hope your protest action was timed right.

No, but I'm not surprised - I'm sure they pumped the price just to spite me:)
