Apparently now MTNSP's Customer Care Line 808 has a new option (press 5) on the IVR for all Data Related Queries. i have tried it out, i must say the agents are always quiet willing to assist. Option five on the IVR has Data assistant ready at ure feet. thanks for a wonderfull initiation :cool: :)
 
Cellc dont have 3G (or maybe they do but they just resell it tough vodacom)

I'm going to try that immediately. I tried the 808 line yesterday to try to find out about the MyCall Extend 3G promotion in the Sunday press last week. The consultant knew nothing about it - he checked his schedule of 3G promos and there were only phone options available. I checked the advert again and it certainly is a MTNSP advert, so I'm a bit in the dark. Hopefully this new menu option will shed some light. MTNSP (CIC), any help on this one?

Must say it's quite frustrating to try to get hold of MTNSP nowadays - often wait on hold up to 5 minutes before someone answers the call. MTNSP (CIC), are you guys working on improving this? Having one single 808 number for all branches is also quite frustrating when trying to get hold of a specific sales consultant at Mt Edgecombe branch. Can no longer dial the 031 number and ask for the consultant. :(
 
well MTN Edge saved my life and business yesterday to say the least, coulda lost quiet a bit of money if I couldnt get online for the fact is, someone sabotaged(vandalised?) our telkom exchanged and cut all the wires.. Only means of internet and phonecalls was to use my Edge and cell obviously ;-)

Was my first time really relying on this and man, Im glad :)

Looks like some one missed training
 
I have asked MTN SP to follow up on 808 and the MTN SP adverts directly
