New details about Transnet cyberattack

I hate to break it to you but Bitcoin is not annonymous AT ALL!

It is based on a globally, publically published transaction ledger called
"the BlockChain" and noone can edit enties recording the transactions in the BlockChain as the entire premis of Bitcoin relies on this ledger being as
close to eternally indestructable as is possible with our current technologies.

It takes serious careless criminals to be caught when transacting bitcoins, btc wallets are like Swiss Bank accounts, numbers and letters with zero designation to any irl person or organization until someone slips up. All transactions are recorded but no records are kept of the entity behind the strings of numbers and letters.
 
This might be a very sophisticated form of "cyber looting" if data exfiltration is happening as well.
