The boss is complaining about the ADSL that is working and not working.

I can confirm that it is the modem/router that is on the brink of death.

I can only spend R2k on 2 adsl modem/routers.

It must have 4 LAN ports and 300mbps wi-fi.

I was thinking of going for the N300 wireless router.

What would you guys recommend for that price range?

Hope this helps ...

If you're with Afrihost, then have a look at http://www.afrihost.com/site/product/adsl_modems?src=nav

Hi There,
I have used the Netgear N300 and been very impressed with it for over 2 years now. It seems particularly resilient to Highveld storms as I have had some hits which affected other connected technology but the router survived. It just needed to be re-booted.

The other D-Link suggestions are also fine as you will see people attest to on these pages.

Regards

Tim

Hi snail112, this is Deeh from the Cisco Small Business Group. It seems your having concerns with your current router and we'd like to help you by providing some recommendations on the right product. Based on your criteria, you might want to take a look at our RV series routers. Here's a link for more info, http://www.cisco.com/cisco/web/solu...mall_business_routers/index.html-tab-Overview By the way, any required throughput?

Thanks,
DV
