New earth

Please please please can we keep the new planet unspoilt and leave Julias behind when we move.

Probably not "one of these days" since (a) we don't have starships that can travel at the speed of light (b) it would take over 2 decades to get there even if we did.

But it's good to know that we at least have the possibility of migrating to another world at some stage in the future.

At 3-4 times the mass of the earth gravity is going to be a real biatch. I don't think humans can live in a constant 3-4G environment. No woman would move there as their weight would be a major issue for them :D

lol. so from statistically inferred star wobble we immediately assume we can pack our **** and move there. human naivety knows no bounds.

That is assuming of course that the planet is not inhabited already. An exploration mission would be viewed as an invasion attempt especially to outside observers who might know human history already. We are not good people, but scavengers on the hunt for technology and resources. Thats what it boils down to.

Better be careful with colonising a new planet..... 100 years down the line the natives might start demanding the land to be nationalised...

Already packed my tutu and G-String....ready to go!
Shame....what a boring life with no sci fi movies.
Gaan k@k man! :-)

I've got the cubicle next door, knock three times on hatch for a shot of tequila ----> to infinity and beyond.

The creatures on this new planet could be similiar to the animals and creatures on earth but on different stages of the evolutionary timeline.

I'm not sure how I feel about sharing lunch with a Tyrannosaurus Rex :D

If a camera uses light to take a picture and it will take light 20 years to get there how do they get that image in such a short space of time?

The lifeforms there might take a bit of an exception to us just moving in.....''apartheid'' in a foreign system
