New Eskom acting CEO appointed

Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown says she has approved Eskom Board’s recommendation to appoint the current Group Executive: Generation, Matshela Koko, as acting Group Chief Executive of Eskom.

That's not good going but what I have heard about his management of generation.

In June this year, before the State of Capture investigation, Carte Blanche interviewed Koko and asked him about the prepayment. At first he denied it but, when presented with his signature on the document, he quickly back-pedalled, claiming he had made a mistake.
