New Game Advise

OK, so since I played Crysis, Warhead, COD 4 & 5, Farcry 2 and NFS Undercover I have not touched my PC (Gaming wise) since December. I need a new $%^# Awsome game to play! And no, I don't do WOW! Not my thing.

Whats next :confused: Opinions pls !!!

Mainly FPS, but i like Driving (got my old faithfull force feedack wheel). FEAR 2 will be a definate (pity they have not upgraded the engine much), FEAR was the most eery, spooky game ever !!! Not a P.O.P fan will lookup the others you put up...

I think Crysis has been by far the best game I have ever played, Farcry2 was good, graphics were awsome, but it took sooo long and was a bit repetitive!

I see Crytek is releasing ver3 of their Cry-Engine. cant wait to see how that will Kill a PC with whatever gamers devlope on it!
 
I've got the Momo Racing Force, but haven't used it since Underground 2 and Flatout 2. Other games don't feel as good on it though.
Crysis was great I agree, though I won't replay it, that's why I didn't play Warhead.
Farcry 2 is good though its really getting boring now, haven't played it in a while.
Only problem with FEAR2 is the random pauses, but I'll finish my other games first before playing it.

I think I replayed cryses 3 or 4 times- had to after upgrading from a 8800GT to GTX280 !! Warhead was enjoyable, just too short!!

Hmm random Pauses on FEAR2 any patches yet ?

Checking around now, and according to this, an automatic update has been released this morning(or maybe they're late on the news).
dunno if it fixes the pauses though.

Edit: Its for steam users BTW
And here's a new link that says it's been released this past weekend. No news on a stand alone patch yet.

I Hate steam ... what a pile of cr%#. It seriously put me off playing anything further on the HL2 series of games. We had 7 PC's on one network, sharing an iBurst connection. Killed our cap just keeping up to date! Man Steam sux! Any game from now that is exclusively steam powered can kiss my a.. (untill we get uncapped cheap internet)
 
Mount&Blade, $7.99 and a 400mb download. The game is about the battles which is in 1st or 3rd person with your amry, against the enemy. You can choose your weapons, armour, horse, soldiers etc. The combat is brilliant. Think Medieval Total War, but you actually are the leader.

It is really addictive, and kept me playing for months, and then there are the most amazing mods. Just try it before you judge it.
