hi

I want to go and buy some games 2moro, not sure what to get, what is everybodies favorite games at the mo, top 5....
 
havnt played but i like games like call of duty, unreal tournament, etc?

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty
Lost: Via Domus
The Club
Conflict: Denied Ops
Sins of a Solar Empire
 
most games these days are multiplayer and online.
Frontlines: Fuel of War looks REALLY good. Its from the makers of Battlefield and promises to be awesome online!
 
thanks what games are thier tho that arnt made only for online play? as i only hav a 512line a bit slow for online games.
 
should i even bother getting crysis as i only hav a 9600gt

with your CPU (and nifty lil 9600gt) and stuff i think you should manage just fine. just dont crank it up ALL the way

also, perhaps get yourself Orange Box. it has lotsa gaming goodness and obviously it has Team Fortress 2 :D

Call of Duty 4 - best FPS and online FPS.

World in Conflict - nice alternative view to the tactical RTS

Supreme commander: Forged alliance - The benchmark in large scale RTS game. It's not the "few dozen orcs in your back yard"-game they call strategy these days. Were talking thousands of units on the battlefield.

Games to give a skip are:
Newest Need for speed (actually all of them)
Empire earth 3
generally any game that includes a year in the title (no EA sports)

wait for far cry 2 to come out, not that long now(by April it should be here, as i've heard)

CoD4, Orange Box & Frontlines, are all pretty good online FPS's BF2/2142 are still popular [atleast 12+ people on from 9AM daily!!]

As for a 9600GT... I have a buddy with 2GB Ram & E2180[stock] & 9600GT running it 1024x768 Dx9 High w/ DX10 XP patch getting 30+ fps :D
