Hi there. Could I expect any discount on a G6 GTi when buying new? I bought my last VW (Jetta 5 FSi T) at a dealership in JHB however the lad I use to deal with eloped. What is VW's current stance on discount? Any help will be appreciated in obtaining a ride at a well thought-of dealer.

If I remember correctly, it depends on how 'wanted' the car is and how easy it is to sell.

On a GTI, you're be looking at zero to minimal discount

put it to the salesman, if he doesn't like it try another dealership, obviously you need to be semi-reasonable or anyone would tell you to f off.
