If u can, i would really try and push for a HD5770 though. Always try and get the best u can afford. even if it's abit of a stretch for that extra R200:)

Personally I would choose Sapphire. Purely due to the excellent cards I have purchased over the years from them
512MB and 1024MB is not big a difference in performance. Well not that one would easily see it.
Personally I haven't seen the advantage of having more RAM on a gfx card

For the Sapphire card, in the product summery it says "512mb 128bit 4 channel DDR5 " and in the Specifications is says "1024MB /128bit GDDR5 memory interface"

So is it a 512mb or a 1024mb card?

that specific one is a 512mb card. the product code says so :)
because if u look really closely to that picture, it's the 5770 it's showing ;) that's the 1GB version

Sapphire 5750 1GB looks like this...

I can only spend R1500
So the 5750 is looking like my only choice at the moment

previous post has been edited. they lazy @ picture posting lolz
but it's a good card to be honest :)

Except that his budget is R1400.

Sigh. You should read the thread before you post.

and again the 5750 outperforms a 4850 which is still an awesome card. I'm maxing out dragon age using a 4850. Why you keep thinking dx11 games will be such a performance killer is a question I don't have an answer to.

But I did read his post? I'm just giving him my honest opinion. I've gone through enough graphics cards to build 5 new computers....

Sorry was replying to killas post.

The card with the higher core clock will perform much better.
