New Headphones

Maybe that's what the CD's are capable of, but if you look into the actual track details, they're always 128.
Bull****. 128 sounds like it's been recorded in a toilet, compared to 192, 256 or something lossless like Flac. I'd you can't hear the difference, you may suffer from a hearing problem or your equipment may be of poor quality.

OP, had the JBL E50BT's.

Bought them from a daily deal on takealot, lasted a few months and eventually sound only came out the one side.

Sent them back to takealot and got credit.

Bought the above (Skullcandy Hesh 2) and tbh for the extra 1500 its not worth it.

Only downside if you compare the two is my Hesh headphones are not wireless and have no mic. But Bass wise they are better.
Skullcandy is low quality, high priced equipment that gets tinkered with to increase bass.
A set of AKG, Sennheiser or Alessandro cans will blow them out of the water, at an equal price point.

I won't know the difference in sound as I don't listen to them, my wife does. Also never compared since they rip to 128 from the CD. May be 192 or something, but definitely no higher.

And if you can't reply with proper manners, your mother may have been suffering from a training problem.

Don't go posting completely factually incorrect garbage then.

I tried out the HD380's and found them to be almost too bassy for my liking. I went with HD558's which were less so, but far more open sounding and just provide a more enjoyable music-listening experience IMO.

Equal price of less that R500 ?

Please show me some examples ?

I ended up buying the JBL E50BT already. Will give them a try tonight or tomorrow.

The reviews online all seemed great so I went for them. If something has to go wrong or don't like them I will return them.

When you had them, how was the sound?
