Another step up:

New Hyundai i30

I was thinking about getting a 2.0 Cerato hatch early next year, but I might hold off a few months to get this... Awesome! Definitely a little Peugeot in there, but in a good way.

Hyundai really has hit the market nicely, they are producing some nice looking cars and offering great deals! At the time i got my car (08) there wasn't much to look at in Hyundai but i would definitely jump on this car! Very nice looking car!

Pretty, interior needs a facelift aswell, but not bad by Hyundai.

I agree that the interiors are not quite up to German and French standards, but they are actually getting better too... and then of course, there's the price differences and all the extras as standard. So, the cheaper option does not feel as cheap as they used to.

O WOW!!! I really like that! I love Hyundai and have owned two, but i dont think i'm being bias when i say that looks INCREDIBLE! I personally like the interior! Very sci-fi kinda feel IMO... i like it alot!

Front Grill def has a Peugeot appeal  Luckily they've saved it a little (the lights and foggies are awesome, along with the bonnet lines meeting the flared bumper "wings"), but the back looks alot like the new Alfa Giulietta, well the lights at least... Very sexy! lol

NO!!!!! Just got my i30 last year! But it looks fantastic!

But I still get loads of people admiring my car. Absolutely nothing wrong with the current model.

Dont know about behind... I personally see it as more of a Hatch alternative to the Elantra. Could be wrong though...

I agree with you. They will probably be priced the same... or higher. Hopefully Hyundai SA can give us some info after Frankfurt. At the moment they are saying that this is just a teaser and not the production car. Looks pretty much production ready to me...

Kinda looks like the fiesta...but I love it.

New i30 vs Fiesta comparison

I thought it was mostly Peugeot 308 mixed with Opel Astra... but I see what you mean. The wheel arches, shoulder line and swept back headlights are similar to the Fiesta. Hyundai's designs are getting stronger though. I think this actually looks better than all the cars that I just mentioned.

Yea definitely! I cant see why or what they would want to change with the production models! This is perfect as is! My question to Hyundai is "Are you going to bring us a 2.0L?"

I agree, it does look similar, but IMO this is the nicest looking of the lot! Like that it's a bigger hatch as opposed to a compact one as well!

In the hatch department i'm also a fan of the Ford Focus, but the new one is AWFUL! Would much rather buy this!

Ja true, def has some Peugoet in it, but it looks like a whole mish-mash of certain areas of great looking cars - which is fine with me. I mean we can sit here and see similarities everywhere if we look hard enough. It def has an Alfa Guilietta looking back to it which is pretty cool. I really like the whole look and the interior.

I own the i20, so this will look good in my garage in a couple of years when its launched here.
