NEW iBurst Modem? WTH!!?

So my father get's a call from iBurst saying that they can give him a Brand new Iburst Modem for free!
(They obviously meant with a renewed 24-month contract) and it allows you to connect many PC's through Wireless* !! And it comes with a CD that you install to get the iBurst on the other PC's. And it wont costs us any more per month, than our current price (R239 for 2GB+64K till April.)

*My father heard the word Wireless (he's like that) and was immediately sold. And he know's very little about technology and the ADSL price drops.:twisted:

Now my question is this: Is there a NEW iBurst Modem? Or will they probably just Courier a cheap Router tomorrow?

EDIT: Oh and myBurst still shows that our Contract expires in 2037. This stopped being funny last year. Please fix this.

Brand new, just means that the modem isn't second hand. There's no new iBurst model modems on the market.

Don't let your dad sign a 24 month contract, that's insane. Prices are dropping on a monthly basis.

He'll be stuck with iBurst for 2 years.

Rather go month2month and buy the modem second hand.

There will be plenty for sale at the end of this month.

agreed dont bother, they just trying to get you sign a 24 month contract, there is no new modem out.
rather run away and go for ADSL
