New iBurst User

Hey guys/girls.

Got my stuff yesterday, but was only able to set it up today.
Couple of questions.

1. How do I check my signal?
2. Anyone know where the tower is in Midrand/Noordwyk?
3. Anything I can change to get a better reception/speed?

Please note that I am running Vista64 and cannot load the software that came with. I have the desktop modem and using the network cable.

Yeah, that's about what I am getting. I thought I just ask, seeing as I know almost nothing about iBurst, yet.

my setting for MTU is 1392 to check yours open command prompt Start > Run > cmd

and type ping -f -l 1364 mybroadband.co.za (can be any domain name)

If you are using USB please ensure that you set the Dial Up Ras MTU to 1392.
