New idea for MMO

So I was mulling around a list of games from back in the day, and thought wow, this could be a nice MMO..

Basically my idea is taking the Mechwarrior franchise and making it into an MMO

Just think for a moment. It will be a roleplaying game of sorts. Player creates his character and as he levels up, assigns different skills and talents. Players can make clans and build up towns and gather resources. Can go on hunting parties to gather materials, raid other clans bases, find better weapons and upgrades for character and his mech. Find plans to mechs and weapons/armor upgrades. Can maybe do plans for an epic mech where you need to find plans for the legs, torso, arms and head etc. Can aquire different parts of mechs to build them like this.

Then later on maybe make arena teams and battle each other for upgrades(skills and weapon/armor upgrades) etc.

Just a thought, what do you guys think?

I'd like it if you could "eject" from your mech, run up to someone else's, sneak inside and blow his brains out

Oh, and steal his mech, of course :3 Sell it for scrap

also a good addon idea,what if u can make like a mech ambush and when some lone wonderer comes near u can emp his mech and capture him then using him as a prisoner too build more mechs for u

But with mechs you'd have to make the movement extremely fast so the gameplay doesnt drag... imagine using the Wildcat and walking across the world at 10kmh.. lol. Could use something like that other mech game, cant remember the name.. but its more like battle suits.

No I think I will reserve my judgment on Darkfall for the moment. Take a look at Earthrise..
