New Ipad first loading process

just got a new ipad, what is your guys setup process?, do you wipe it before using?, or just start straight off

if it is empty/new why would you wipe it?

If its new, activate, customise settings and use. If you had an iPad, restore the new one from the old ones backups. If its second hand, restore from a backup. It will wipe the iPad anyway.
