New iPhone and MTN

Hi

Need some help. Just got my new iPhone 3GS locally. I Jailbreaked the phone before activation using redsn0w.

No, when I insert my MTN sim card, I just get "no service".

Please help. I've tried switching of 3G and rebooting, nothing helps

You were suppose to activate first then jailbreak.

Try performing a restore with OS 3.0.

3.1 cannot be jailbroken yet.

if its local stock...shouldn't the MTN sim work with any need for jailbreaking...?

thanks limnos, your right, I had to factory reset my iPhone to get it to work.

Unfortionately it updated my firmware to 3.1 But at least everything is working properly.
Seems the Dev-Team will be releasing a redsn0w for 3.1 soon, so hopefully I'll be able to jailbreak soon
