Very nice, I think the OS of the future will be based on how the iPod works, simple, clean and unbreakable. Video quality is sharp, crytal clear and excellent. I like the earbuds, you dont feel them like you do with other makes of earbuds. I'm a bit confused as to the little plastic thing that comes with it, apparently it's a adaptor of some kind, could anybody else with a 80 GB iPod care to explain it to me?

That would be the dock adaptor insert for the universal dock. All the new ipods ship with one. Means you can use the universal dock and apple remote to control the ipod.

Speaking of iPod, what is the best (freeware) management tool for Mac I can download, the thing that annoy's is that my compilations are mixed up when I import via Finder even tho they are sorted in folder levels.

Yeah - let itunes do all the work. Dont worry - its not the bloated junk they pawn off on windows users.

Playlists are your friends - loading via finder is a waste of time and resources.

Agreed, let the mac + itunes do all the work. Set your library location in preferences and have itunes organise your library and copy new music to the library, then sic it on your music files.
