As crystalweb has been unable to perform I need a new isp.

Requirements are basically:

1.Great international gaming latency. I play swtor and eso. Don't not care for local latency as my gaming is international, my friends are all internationally based. As I raid I do not want any latency drops or disruptions when in the middle of a boss fight, it isn't great apologizing that we failed to beat a boss because my isp decided to drop the connection.
2.No buffering on twitch
3.No issues with either mumble or skype
4.Need 200-300gb a month, preferably unshaped
5.No restriction on download times, consider any restriction of downloading after 12:00 am the same as eskom bs loadshedding
6.Line is 20mbps so account needs to run at line speed.
7.Max willing to spend is R1000, less is better.

Any advice will be appreciated.

webafrica's home uncap is 20mb is R1000pm
or get a high cap option, you will love it,always just works like it should

and u can download as much as u want after 12

can check my sig,if u want to see the prices etc

WA is the streaming isp,so wont have a porblem :D

Their uncapped has star ratings. Be cautious. The capped one you can get a 300GB for 899 plus the 600gb download hour data.

if he keeps most of his torrents/downloads for after 12,it wont drop that fast, and even if the stars drop, streaming still nice
only at 3-2stars you can start to feel it

Instead of punting your affiliate link read his post, he said no scheduling or 12am stuff.

i did say about the high cap option, and that it always works great
the reason i say he should use my link is,its alot easier for him to get to the site, and look at all the options there are

and "Their uncapped has star ratings. Be cautious"
you said that,so i just replyed on that, saying even if the stars do drop ,streaming will still work

also even with cap download big files after 12,so you wont use all you main data,as 300gb will be easy to use with a 20mb line

Not interested in after 12:00 am downloading as I stated I consider those policies the same as eskom loadshedding total bs. Network should be able to cope with downloads whatever time of the day...

Also all my big downloads need to happen as the patch is released, no I will not delay my gaming in order to download the patch after 12.

Well if you take a gander at the Web Africa thread at the moment you'll see there is some unrest with uncapped and capped customers ...I'm also in the same boat as you (not 20Meg tho :D )

with those conditions, at that speed and price your expectations are too high

consider going for 10Mbs line and get a 200GB business capped account from Web Africa or reconsider your situation

I get what you're saying. Unfortunately the ISPs that offer only anytime data haven't been too reliable.

Option 1:
http://www.mweb.co.za/internet-connection/adsl/uncapped-adsl/20mbps-uncapped-vdsl.aspx

R99 over budget, but at least you can use it anytime.

Option 2:
For R899 you can get 300GBs of any time data(which is what you use anyway):
http://www.webafrica.co.za/home/adsl/

Or try the VOX Fatpipe. 300 GB for R925. Supposed to be really good from what I have heard (I only use the bolt-on and it is great as well).

Lol, eish.

they capped my 50GB account twice in the same month at less than half of the usage.

Lol. Yeah they have been 4 or 5 posts complaining of slow speeds. Compared to 400-500 posts in the Afrihost thread.

You just can't compare man :D

I did say some :D although I'm also contemplating between Afrihost and Web Africa myself

You might pay more for some things, but at least Web Africa works. Probably the best routing of all the ISPs in the country.

Yeah. I wonder if the mods can implement a thread usage graph for the ISP's. On the Vox uncapped bolt-on thread there have been no posts for days at a time, but the AH capped feedback probably has multiple pages per day. I know there is a difference in number of users, but the amount of activity in each thread should give an indication of what is happening.

Doesn't sound too good.

Looking like the webafrica 300 gig deal might be the best option.
