Okay but arent the L lens better quality than the normal one?
And would you guys buy such a lens secondhand at outdoorphoto? They claim it is working.
L lenses are better built (normally have a better construction) and are far more robust. The image quality is generally better too. Ive heard of some L lenses taking longer to focus than some lower end ones .
I have the 17-40mm f4L and i do enjoy it A lot! a pretty decent lens for landscape and tight enviroments.
A good portrait / people lens is the 85mm f1.8 (which isnt too expensive) but you could get away with the 50mm f1.8 if strapped for cash.
havnt used the 24- 105mm L but i would imagine its a fairly useful lens.
Have a look over here. I was interested in buying the 70-200 off of the seller but i just dont have the cash...
