New Laptop

I need to buy a new laptop for my daughter who will be using it mainly for home use (ie varsity projects, music, email etc) so does not have to be high-end, not have to be replaced for the next 2 or 3 yrs and has to have the following basics:
- not a celeron processor
- 2gb ram (minimum)
- 320gb harddrive (7200rpm)
- windows 7
- HDMI port
- SD card reader
- bluetooth 2.0
- webcam

Any recommendations?
 
Game often have deals on Dell Inspiron notebooks with those specifications and price range. I have one that's a few months old and very happy with it. Hardware good quality and 3 year warranty is awesome and not common for that price range. The newer models have reasonable core 2 duo chips and 2gb (or more) memory as well as 320gb disk drive. All usual features such as wifi, bluetooth, dvd-rw etc.
 
At that budget you can pick up a decent Lenovo with a warranty extension, there's different options on the type of warranty you need to cover depending on the laptop model you choose, including accidental damage protection.
