Take a look at http://www.itweb.co.za/sections/business/2003/0310280737.asp?O=E
What tickles my funny bone is the "This is good news for customers who can now look forward to even better service from Telkom" comment.
This journalist has obviously never tried to interact with Telkom.
Also "Surf the Internet, and experience the speed of the ADSL and ISDN technologies, all this in the comfort of the shop."
Could someone in CPT actually go to this place and ask about ADSL. I would really like to know if they give the facts about capping, port prioritisation, etc upfront...
If these service limitations are not clearly stated upfront without probing from a potential customer (i.e. we the ignorant masses bowing down to the great master Telkom) then it's just another issue to be added to the ICASA complaint being compiled by Peapod.
