I will because of this continue to use I-Burst.
Do anyone have any info on the new modem/router we are going to get? My brother got a telkom contract and his router came with a built-in battery. I hope this new I-Burst router will have the same.

Anyone have the specs, photos, or model number of the new router?

Helpdesk did mention "the router comes with four LAN ports"

The website shows that in 15 days time the 3 towers in my area will be decommissioned. LTE-A information will be coming end of Feb. So I must wait until month end for further information at which point I will be advised if the new service is available in my aread or if I am stranded without connectivity. Or I must jump ship now.

Strange way of doing business.

I was part of the trial group who tested the network. The routers supplied for the test were the standard Huawei LTE model (with 4 LAN ports)

I think this is the new Rain antenna in Port Shepstone - the white ones in the middle.
