MacbookPro Updates on their way

Seems like macbook pro updates are coming as we speak. The apple stores are down (well not the core store, cos core still sucks) for an update and according to appleinsider we are getting new macbook pros. Hopefully its the core i5's and i7's I have been waiting so long for

Nice, I was just looking at macupdate.com's buyers guide for the MBP last night. I'm really lusting after having 8GB memory.

If you look at dollar to dollar price, will probably cost just as much as an HP Envy. You can buy macbook pros overseas as they carry apple Fully international warranty!

They'll be the same as the old ones. From $1199 which is not bad.

Too bad they decided to drop the discrete graphics from the lower-end 15" - I think that's quite cheeky, given the price.

The price dropped and you get 9400M graphics. It's still an awesome laptop IMO. Great screen.

I thought that too with the last mac pro upgrade, but the previous generation just vanished from the stores, no price-drop - just disappeared! Maybe you know something I don't?

No updates on the apple site yet.

You can always get clearance stock from the apple store website. Assuming you have somewhere for them to ship it to.

apple.com is up but the store isn't. The site doesnt have the new laptops, only the store will till they update that site.

clearance - there isn't anything now, but they show up usually.

The 13" is still Core 2 Duo, expect everyone to bitch about it. Well the 13" is arguably still the best value. The 2.4ghz Core 2 Duo is faster than before, although still slightly slower than the Core i5 Mobile, it consumes less power. So you get 10 hours battery life. The nVidia 330M is much faster than 9400M. 4Gb RAM, 250Gb Hard drive and a great quality screen for $1199.

Also now you have more of a reason to get a 15" or 17"
