Hi guys.

I am interested in getting a new pc for home. It will most prob be used for gaming and some work at home....

Now my question is do you think its better to get a ready built machine (that requires no work from my part) or do you think its better to buy the components and build it up?

Thanks

I still prefer building my own. Yes takes more time but you put in what you want the way you want.

depends, how are you at assembling the various pc parts together?

have you done it before? Do you know what you are doing?

if so, then it is cheaper to do it yourself.

yea i have done it before...
and i know what to do and not what to do.
will it work out cheaper to buy the comoponents?

I'm all for building it myself - done it countless times in the past - but these days if something goes wrong I prefer it to be someone else's problem. :)

It also depends on the place. Some charge for assembly, some don't. Matrix Computers do not charge anything to assemble the PC for you... it is included in the price. Best you ask them what their in store policy is. But remember, if they assemble it for you then it comes with the full warranty. If you assemble it and something goes wrong, they may void your warranty.
