I see that MTN have released a new brochure for August and September specials:

There seem to be some more significant changes from the last one, with a couple of interesting additions. Samsung Wave for R179 on an Offpeak 100 contract (so it should be less, relatively speaking, on an Anytime 200 or 350 contract) looks intriguing and they've finally added models like the HTC Legend, Wildfire and Nokia N97 Mini.

I've got the complete deal sheet which is supposed to be for Q3, but states that it's valid until December. I can't email it, but any ideas on a good local site to upload it. Then if anyone is interested, they can just download it. Has some nice phones, like the Blackberry 9300, Nokia 5330, N8 and C6, Samsung Galaxy S, which aren't launched yet, so I suppose they'll be available anytime from now until December.

Feel free to share the prices given for that N8! :)

Try www.quickshare.co.za as long as it's less than 10mb's it the best bet.

WTH Why is the Blackberry Bold 9000 more expensive per month than the Bold 9700 for exactly the same contract?!?

The Samsung Galaxy S only R259pm on the MTN Anytime 100? :wtf:
The Nokia N8 R279pm on MTN Anytime 200? :wtf:

You sure these prices are right?! because if they are I think Vodacom are going to cr@p in their pants :wtf:

That may just have me moving back into the contract fray :wtf: !

Okay, so they've got all these cool phones listed, but WHEN will they be available. The N8 is launching overseas end of this month, so we'll probably get it in November if we're lucky. The Galaxy S and C6 is already out overseas, but not yet here. Besides, MTN are known for advertising phones they don't have

Phoned MTN Direct, the lady said maybe September on the Galaxy S :(

thanks for this seedat77.

i like i like

galaxy s is less than desire hmmm - this helps greatly in choosing between galaxy s and desire

Phoned MTN Direct about the SE X10 mini pro. They said they don't even know the price of the phone let alone when they will have stock.
Said I must call back in "a few weeks". Pathetic MTN!!

According to the leaflet I'm looking at it's R199 on the Off Peak 200.

How is this phone? Anyone know? (I'm getting tired of my touch-screen-only)
