New MVNO SmartMobile launched in SA

I don't get it....

R319 per month for a crap phone, no airtime and 200mb data?

iSmart, a Digicall Group company, has launched a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) called SmartMobile – which runs on Cell C’s network.

Nothing to see here, moving on :)

On a serious note, is Cell C the only guys these people can approach when creating MVNO's? How many MVNO's do we have now?

What is the story with this MVNO? It seems to me they are just taking packages from the respective networks and rebranding it and selling it under their banner? That is not a MVNO, that is just a dealer channel in my view.

Wouldn't touch Digicall, Ismart or the whole group with a ten foot barge pole.

They were the biggest direct distributors of Autopage Products for many years.
