New Mxit V5.4 !!

Using a phone emulator also works perfectly fine, no need for file editing, just 'plug and play'

Everything else works fine on my connection. I'm running Vista, do you think it's something on there?

check that the port 9119 is open on ur router. that's the port mxit uses i think. i also couldn't run mxit on my pc until i opened that port on my router.

Oh goody! New version of mxit! I'm about to piss my pants. Now all you idiots using it in the cinema whilst I am trying to watch a goddamn movie can have even more fun.

Woopee.

Don't generalize. I use mxit if and when I quickly need to chat to a close friend, I won't use it in a cinema either ;)

I know you can bold, underline and italics. How do you add colour?

Lol I only found out the other day how this thing works and that the first two digits make up red, the second two make up green and the last two make up blue. Kinda like mixing colours with paint really.

The next version of Mxit should have the main colours available for everyone to use though.

it's not an official feature of mxit, it's more of a by-product cos of the embedded html/xml in mxit. it is cool tho, but it requires too much effort to change the colour all the time. perhaps what they should do is have an option/menu where we can select the colour for the text for each message and/or word. i assume version 5.5 might have this.
