Given up on streaming and gone back to playing from stored items, far quicker especially with impatient wife and kids who don't like add breaks or buffering buffering buffering.....

+1 - although I will probably come back once I am on an uncapped data plan. I liked how easy it is to cancel Showmax, no one month notice periods etc, and you can always reactivate your subscription.

I hope these guys have DD+ or better for those who can handle that kind of bandwidth. I would rather have a small quality catalogue than an expansive one with only stereo

I am using Netflix for roughly 2 years and I am pretty happy with it. I used it in so many ways: I purchased PlayOn and PlayLater before the Netflix app was available on the Xbox for non gold members.
Then, of course, I made use of the Netflix app on the Xbox and I have recently purchased the Amazon Fire TV stick.

All-in-all, Netflix is available on any platform I wish and I am able to take it anywhere with me and it is working well.

Content wise - I think it is great but I did have a look at Showmax and the others just to form my own opinion. There are some content like, Game of Thrones, that could get people interested and surely Netflix also needed to start somewhere just like these competitors.

For me - Netflix has got loads more to offer and is affordable and therefore I will be hard pressed to switch or add one of these services for now.

They are quite aggressively blocking international viewers so not worth the effort.

What else do they have there that's interesting besides GoT?
