New old motherboard

My mobo in my HTPC has packed in. It was a Gigabyte GA-K8NS. I know that it is old, but my machine was running perfectly. I am not wanting and don't have the bucks to do a complete upgrade, so I need another board.

My memory is DDR400, processor is an AMD 3000 XP+ 64bit, 6600GT AGP gpu, etc

Any advice on a suitable replacement, preferably gigabyte or if anyone has one of these to sell.

How old is the board - get hold of Rectron and see if it's still under warranty - they should swop it out immediately if it's within the 3-year warranty period.

I have two brand new boxed GA-K8NS (socket754) motherboards in stock (ordered for a client who didn't collect middle of 2007), so if you don't come right, give me a shout.
 
I'm also going to be scouting for an old motherboard soon for a PC to stuff around on and keep a few IDE HDDs going - for an AMD Athlon 2800+ Thoroughbred, DDR400 and AGP.

What type of price are we looking at? I need to see if it is going to be worth the schlep to do the warranty thing. Unfortunately I don't have my invoice (who keeps those things)

There is a serial barcode on the motherboard. Rectron can scan it and see when it was bought.

I would try taking it back, where are you located?

Give them a call and see if they can help with a swop-out - they should be able to check the warranty status over the phone using the bar-code.
